Dukkah

Dukkah is an Egyptian blend of spices and nuts. Our version contains cumin, coriander, pepper, and sesame seeds. We recommend grinding with almonds or some other kind of nut. For every two parts of nuts, add one part of the blended spices and serve in a cone with a good quality olive oil. First dip bread in the oil, then in the dukkah. It is delicious as an opener, or just for snacking. Try using it to make a spicy crust for fish or poultry.
